Wesley Carter “Wes” Welker, American 30-year-old footballer with height 5 ft 9 in (1.75 m) and weight 185 lb (84 kg) is playing in the position of Wide receiver for the New England Patriots of the National Football League. He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on May 1, 1981. He has also played for the San Diego Chargers and Miami Dolphins. Welker played college football at Texas Tech.

Despite being undrafted, Welker has had a successful career to date. Only one player in NFL history, Gale Sayers, had more all-purpose yards in his first three NFL seasons than Welker did with the Dolphins; Welker holds the Dolphins’ all-time records for total kickoff returns, kickoff return yardage, and total punt returns. Welker, who led the league in receptions in 2007 (tied with T.J. Houshmandzadeh) and 2009, also holds the three highest single season reception totals in Patriots history,[1] and is the only receiver in NFL history to record at least 110 receptions in three consecutive seasons (and, in fact, in any three seasons). He has also been selected to the Pro Bowl and/or All-Pro Team in each of his first three seasons with the Patriots.

A three-time Pro Bowl selection, Welker finished sixth in receptions among wide receivers last seasons. The Texas Tech product has now averaged an impressive 108 receptions and recorded 1,000-plus yards three times over the last four years.

Thierry Daniel Henry (born 17 August 1977 in Les Ulis, Essonne, France) is a French football player who plays as a striker for the French national team, and for the English club Arsenal, where he is the club’s all-time leading scorer in both league matches and all competitions.
Henry has been nominated three times for the FIFA World Player of the Year, finishing runner-up in 2003 and 2004, with the announcement of the 2006 winner to come in Zurich on December. Also, he was named by Pele as one of the top 125 greatest living footballers in March 2004.
He has surpassed Ian Wright to take over as Arsenal’s all-time leading scorer with over 200 goals for the club. In 2006, Henry was the first player to score more than twenty goals in five consecutive seasons (2002-2006). He won the European Golden Boot in both 2004 and 2005 thus making him the first ever player to retain the trophy.
On 19 May 2006, despite months of speculation linking him with Spanish club FC Barcelona, he renewed his contract at Arsenal under a 4-year deal until 2010.

Dale Jr. has been driving the number 88 car since the beginning of the 2008 race schedule. Dale Jr. now drives the #88 AMP Energy/National Guard Chevrolet Impala SS in the NASCAR Sprint Cup series for Hendrick Motorsports, and drives in the Nationwide Series part-time for the #5 car for his own team, JR Motorsports. Dale Jr. co-owns JR Motorsports, a NASCAR team based in Mooresville, North Carolina which is co-owned by the owner of his Cup ride Rick Hendrick. It fields the #5 and #88 Chevrolet Impalas in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. JR Motorsports began in a shed on the property of Dale Earnhardt, Inc. in 1998 with just one employee, as the marketing division of Dale Earnhardt, Jr.'s race team. The original intent of the business was to help Earnhardt, Jr. sell t-shirts and negotiate sponsorship deals. It wasn't until 2002 that Earnhardt, Jr. turned the business into a race team, when T. J. Majors drove street stock division at Concord Motorsports Park, in North Carolina. The first win for the team came at Motor Mile Speedway in Radford, VA, in 2004.

Today the team operates out of a 66,000-square-foot (6,100 m2) race shop near Mooresville, North Carolina. Upon Earnhardt, Jr.'s signing with Hendrick Motorsports the Hendrick and JR Nationwide Series teams were merged.
